About Us
The Rotary Club of Fredericktowne was chartered in November of 1983. In our almost 30 years of service, the Club has endeavored to be a major contributor to the Frederick Community.
The Club was proposed by the Rotary Club of Frederick as an evening club to provide an option for members who worked out of the county, or would not be able to meet at noon.
Although we take our role as Rotarians seriously, we strive to create and maintain a fun, casual, and relaxed atmosphere in our club. "Is it Fun?" is an important criteria we consider when planning our projects and events. We recently changed to a "cocktail club" format, with drinks and lighter food fare, which keeps our meetings shorter and more efficient, and our costs down.
